About Schlub Font Family

Schlub is just plain weird. It looks like it was drawn with the left hand of a right-handed person using a gloppy pen yet remains very legible.

About Typadelic

Typadelic, according to Ronna Penner, is “a very small foundry (just me!)”. She continues: “I offer a wide range of distinctive typefaces for Mac and PC. I really became interested in typography and letters as an art form while in college for graphic design and gained invaluable experience when I was employed as a typesetter with a greeting card company for several years. There weren’t many foundries out there offering the type of fonts we needed so I began experimenting with digital type design. I like some of my early efforts and was intrigued by the potential of designing type for commercial use. “On a bit of a lark, I sent my first complete font, Sketchley, to Bitstream, just to see ‘what would happen’. Surprisingly, they accepted it for inclusion in their New Font Collection (2002). It also was one of the winners of ATypI’s bukva:raz! design competition, held in Moscow that same year. At this point I thought there might be a place for me in the type design community, so, I began my own company, Typadelic, in the spring of 2002. “The question, ‘why does the world need more typefaces, don’t we have enough?’ has been asked over and over again. Yes, there are many different typefaces on the market today but I believe Typadelic delivers a fresh and unique perspective in type design, at reasonable prices to boot!”
