Sobre la familia Afrobeat Nova Fuente

A new approach to our best seller Afrobeat released in 2010, this new version brings with it more experience. A new set of uppercase as been added and the lowercase set is fully redesigned and optimized. Nostalgic, 70s, and multilinear optical graphic elements are the recipe for this font. The pounding tribal rhythms of Afrobeat music is expressed through this psychedelic brand new font, Afrobeat. Every letter becomes art as every letter is elegantly placed side by side, like music notes, creating music for the eyes. Afrobeat is a musical style performed by many African artists such as Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Antibalas and many more, which is a fusion of jazz, funk, and psychedelic rock, originating from the 60s and was based on the political movements of Nigeria. This font is perfect for when you want to use eye-catching big texts for anything from posters and flyers for concerts, events, parties, to CD covers, advertisements, and art, but it’s especially striking for printed projects.

Acerca de Resistenza

Resistenza specializes in type-design, branding, calligraphy & lettering. Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González are the two founder, italian and spanish, their passion for writing and handcrafted lettering became their strenghts. Brushy types, calligraphic strokes, orginality in faces are their best distinguished characteristic. The first type was Afrobeat, a multiline circular type that grows up very fast and becase their first product on the list. But afterwards may other experiments more expressive like Berliner Fraktur, or an english copperplate like Copperlove bring Giuseppe Salerno's hand into a typeface.
