À propos de la famille Blaq Police

Blaq Font: a Bold Interpretation of Tradition

Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of Henry W. Troy's Trojan Text, Blaq Font emerges as a contemporary rendition, breathing new life into the classic blackletter aesthetic. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Blaq Font embodies the essence of ornamental sophistication, poised to make a resounding statement in the realm of typography.

Blaq Font's allure lies in its strikingly bold strokes and intricate embellishments, reminiscent of the Victorian Gothic era. Evoking a sense of grandeur and mystique, this font commands attention, particularly in headline compositions and design settings seeking a touch of the 'masculine' aesthetic. Its robust presence lends a sense of authority and gravitas to any project it graces.

Rooted in the rich architectural heritage of the Victorian Gothic movement, Blaq Font pays homage to an era marked by intricate craftsmanship and opulent design. Originating in England during the 1740s, the Gothic revival captivated the imagination of designers and architects, experiencing a surge in popularity throughout the nineteenth century.

Yet, Blaq Font transcends mere emulation, offering a contemporary interpretation that seamlessly melds tradition with innovation. Its bold contours and intricate flourishes reflect a fusion of past and present, making it a versatile choice for modern design applications while retaining the timeless charm of its historical influences.

In essence, Blaq Font stands as a testament to the enduring allure of blackletter typography, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity with effortless grace. Whether adorning the pages of a prestigious publication or commanding attention in digital interfaces, Blaq Font's bold presence ensures that it remains a defining element in the visual landscape of today's design world.

À propos Resistenza

Resistenza specializes in type-design, branding, calligraphy & lettering. Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González are the two founder, italian and spanish, their passion for writing and handcrafted lettering became their strenghts. Brushy types, calligraphic strokes, orginality in faces are their best distinguished characteristic. The first type was Afrobeat, a multiline circular type that grows up very fast and becase their first product on the list. But afterwards may other experiments more expressive like Berliner Fraktur, or an english copperplate like Copperlove bring Giuseppe Salerno's hand into a typeface.
