À propos de la famille Bodoni PT Police
Bodoni PT, a contemporary serif with historical roots, is a flexible type system comprising 33 styles, offering options for both long-form text and extra-large headings. Bodoni PT is inspired by the proportions and characteristic features of Giambattista Bodoni's typefaces, known as the “king of printers and printer of kings.”
At the same time, Bodoni PT is fully adapted to modern needs. It performs well on both screen and in print, appears natural in body text, and its design avoids looking archaic. The typeface offers weights from Regular to Extrabold, with a fully realized gradation of optical sizes. Text styles are suited for small sizes, Subhead styles work best for medium sizes, and Display styles are ideal for large and extra-large applications.
In total, the typeface includes 15 upright styles and 15 corresponding italics, along with two variable fonts and a special ornamental style. Bodoni PT features an extended character set, with each style containing over 1300+ glyphs. All styles come with a complete set of typographic OpenType features, including Small Caps, Proportional and Tabular Numerals, Old-style Figures, Indices, and Arrows. All styles support European languages using both Latin and Cyrillic scripts.
