Every month we sign up new foundries who provide new, innovative fonts. In this 10th issue of Rising Stars, we want to show you three of our top-selling new fonts.

Did You Know?

Font Aid III is a project launched by a diverse collection of typeface designers and font foundries, who all wish to help victims of the Indian Ocean tsunami. SOTA, a US-based non-profit, is acting as a non-partisan organizing body to help coordinate the effort and ensure all funds are distributed appropriately.

Here is how you can participate in Font Aid:

Buy top-selling fonts marked “Font Aid” from participating foundries at MyFonts. Until February 14, many of our foundries are selling best-selling fonts in special “Font Aid III” packages. For all Font Aid III sales, MyFonts retains no commissions and guarantees to give 100% of your payments to a leading charity (see our Font Aid page) helping tsunami victims. How to buy:

Browse Font Aid fonts, or look for the “Font Aid III” icons on our font pages
Add the fonts to the Shopping Cart and purchase them as you normally would

Popular Featured Font of the Month

Every day we feature a different font on the MyFonts home page, a great reason to come back to our site. Last month one of our most popular featured fonts was American Pop, a new font from FontMesa.

Founded in 2000 by photographer and designer Michael Hagemann, FontMesa specializes in creating typeface styles of the old west, and fonts for sign lettering. Some fonts are classic revivals with new lowercase letters added, while others are created from a small sample of letters found on old documents.
