About HS Alwafa Font Family
HS Alwafa is a display font designed primarily for headlines, based on the principles of Square Kufi. It supports Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and Kurdish languages. Initially developed in 2012 in the HSAlwafa-Squares style for use in digital engineering projects, the font was tailored for technological environments, characterized by its geometric structure with equal vertical and horizontal dimensions, giving the letters a digital and technical appearance.
In addition to HSAlwafa-Squares, three other styles were introduced: HSAlwafa-Regular, HSAlwafa-BaseSq, and HSAlwafa-Stencil. In 2024, two more styles were added -HSAlwafa-BaseDot and HSAlwafa-Dots- bringing the total number of styles to six. Simplified English was also added across all styles.
HS Alwafa is a valuable addition to the Arabic typeface library, offering various styles with a contemporary technical aesthetic. It is ideal for a wide range of design applications such as headlines, book covers, creative designs, and modern logos, especially when a clean, modern look is required for digital purposes.
