About TT Drugs Font Family
Introducing the legendary TT Drugs, version 2.000! We gave the font a "beauty injection" to make it more stylish, modern, and adaptable.
TT Drugs is a typeface that doesn't feature serifs but stands out for its high contrast. Due to narrow terminals, the font looks elegant and exquisite. Interestingly, the upper stem parts in the letters "n," "m," "p," "q," "r" and the lower stroke elements of "a" and "u" are a little bit curved. These details make the font unique and give it a sophisticated feel without making it look less serious.
The name of the typeface reflects the story of its creation: the font family was initially intended to be used for the pharmaceutical industry. However, in practical use, the font revealed its multiple dimensions and seamlessly blended with differently themed projects. After the update, the typeface has become even more versatile, so now only its provocative title reminds us of the pharmaceutical past of TT Drugs.
The updated font can easily become part of a skincare brand's visual identity, attract gazes on the cover of an interior design magazine, and shine on a healthy food restaurant sign or a classical music concert poster.
The 2.000 version boasts refined glyph contours, which we, in fact, redrew entirely, and redesigned the italic font styles. We recalculated the weights and updated glyph proportions, refreshing the font and giving it a more relevant look. The character set was expanded, and new font styles were added. We introduced new OpenType features into the font and improved it from a technical standpoint by redesigning kerning and creating manual TrueType hinting for every character. Also, we added a variable font with two axes of variation: weight and slant.
The updated TT Drugs includes:
19 font styles: 9 roman, 9 italic, and a variable font.
834 characters in each font style;
27 OpenType features;
230+ languages support.
