Letterbox

Established in 1991 by founder Stephen Banham, Letterbox undertakes typographic projects. Whilst many of these are commissioned by clients (identity systems, signage systems, book design and font customisation) other projects are research-led such as publications, forums, lectures and exhibitions. Letterbox has run a micro-foundry since 1996, the typefaces being the product of identifying particular typographic gaps and needs from other projects.
