Filippo Salmina
Filippo Salmina is a Swiss designer with a deep passion for type and font design. After graduating in architecture at the ETH Zurich, he was trained in design lettering, and sign writing at the medienformfarbe design school in Zurich. In order to deepen his knowledge on font design, he attended a postgraduate course on “Type Design” at the Hochschule der Künste in Zurich, where he got inspired by the renowned font designer Hans-Jürg Hunziker. Filippo currently works as graphic designer for Ogilvy&Mather, where he is responsible for the design and typography of various graphic projects. Filippo Salmina creates fonts under his own label FSdesign.
