Formatype Foundry was established in 2016 by a group of typography artists with the initiative to develop modern, contemporary font families from a fine arts perspective. Our font families are meticulously designed to maintain the highest quality in terms of structure and function. Throughout its journey as a commercial foundry, Formatype has consistently encouraged the advancement of fine art ideas in urban contexts and across diverse cultures through exhibitions, fine arts laboratories, workshops, research, and online journals.
