Über die Familie

Glade is a formal copperplate steel-nib script designed as a true width family — elegant, flexible, and built for real-world composition challenges. Originally developed for a client seeking multiple width options within a refined connecting script, the project evolved into a complete system ranging from Extra Narrow through Extra Wide. Whether you are working within tight spatial constraints or designing expansive, statement-driven layouts, Glade offers a tailored solution without sacrificing grace or legibility. To give the design a more contemporary warmth, the lowercase has been subtly scaled up and the capitals slightly reduced, creating a friendlier overall texture while preserving classical copperplate discipline. The character set has been thoughtfully expanded and includes OpenType features for unlimited fractions, ordinals, superiors, and inferiors — making Glade as practical as it is beautiful. Available styles include: Extra Narrow, Narrow, Regular, Wide, and Extra Wide. From formal invitations and certificates to editorial mastheads and luxury branding, Glade delivers polished sophistication across a full range of widths.

Über Dear Alison

Dear Alison is the creation of Alison Argento, a travel writer based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Although her work dictates that she spend most of her time typing and editing at the computer keyboard, she prefers the traditional look and feel of handwritten letters and the freehand lettering arts along with the look of vintage type. Dear Alison fonts are meant to bring the handcrafted feel of personal correspondence to the digital age.
