Jan Willem Wennekes
Self taught illustrative designer Jan Willem Wennekes studied both Artificial Intelligence (2002) and Philosophy (2006) at the University of Groningen. Logically, he then decided to start his own design studio and began working on a mix of graphic design and illustration under the name Zeptonn. Jan Willem enjoys applying his illustrative design expertise to other areas, such as animation, art direction and type design, with a focus on eco-friendly and environmental projects. While his profound love for colors gives the diversity of his work a clear signature, his fantasy-rich work has also been recognized for its simplicity. With his work he aims to convey positivism and bring a smile to people's faces.
