Jipatype

Jipatype is a one-man type foundry based in Bangkok, Thailand, founded in 2020 by Anupap Jaichumnan. The foundry's name comes from the Thai word จิปาถะ, which translates to "miscellaneous", "assorted", or "various". This reflects the variety of design approaches and influences that are present in its typefaces. Jipatype creates fonts that blend traditional Thai design elements with modern typography trends. Each typeface is developed with careful attention to both aesthetic details and practical usability, making them suitable for a range of design projects. The work at Jipatype is characterized by a straightforward and functional approach to design, without unnecessary embellishment, aiming to provide clear and effective typographic solutions.
