Font from Paratype
It all goes back to the 1980s, when a small group of typeface designers and software engineers jumped on an exciting opportunity to join the digital publishing revolution. Blending our type and programming expertise, we digitized a vast ink-on-paper font library, transitioned to fully computerized font design and production, and adapted our fonts to ever-evolving printing and computing devices.

Circe—a friendly geometric grotesque with extensive customization options—is a typeface that features seven upright styles and seven true italics ranging from Thin to Extra Bold. The regular style works well for long texts, with bolder and lighter weights best for headings and branding. Each upright style contains over 2,500 glyphs and more than 30 OpenType features including stylistic alternates, small caps, old-style figures, arrows, and card suits. Circe also comes with a large set of swashes, allowing for easy character modification, and supports over 150 languages.
DIN shines through as a defining typeface of the modern grotesque genre and is in fact one of the most popular fonts in use today. DIN 2014, specifically, stands out with several unique features such as a range of narrow styles, straight vertical segments in both uppercase and lowercase ovals, and the option to toggle between oblique and italic styles via a stylistic set. The core DIN 2014 typeface family, meanwhile, boasts three different width variations (Regular, Narrow, Condensed) and 24 styles. DIN 2014 supports over 150 languages including Extended Latin and Cyrillic scripts.
Futura is a classic geometric sans serif, one of the most influential typefaces of the 20th century in fact. Paul Renner introduced the original design for Bauersche Gießerei (Bauer Types, SL) back in 1927, basing his work on simple geometric forms to reflect the aesthetics of Constructivism and the Bauhaus. Futura PT, the most comprehensive Cyrillic version of Futura, includes 25 styles: eight upright, eight oblique, and nine condensed. Each typeface style contains over 690 glyphs and 18 OpenType features, with Futura PT supporting over 150 languages.

Paratype
In 1998, we decided to spin off the font business from our parent company at the time and thus form Paratype: an independent typeface foundry registered in California. In the years that followed, we’ve dramatically expanded our font library by creating new, original typefaces and made our fonts available globally via our own webstore and partner distribution channels. Looking ahead, Paratype will continue whipping up new typefaces while always remaining fully committed to providing best-in-class typography solutions to individual and enterprise customers.
Paratype fonts are included in Monotype Fonts.
