About Afrobeat Font Family

Afrobeat Font seamlessly blends the pulsating energy of Afrobeat music with the fluidity of rounded multiline typography

Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic cadence and vibrant spirit of Afrobeat, this psychedelic font transcends mere letters, transforming them into visual symphonies that dance across the page.

Just as Afrobeat music weaves together diverse influences – jazz, funk, and psychedelic rock – into a tapestry of sound, this font blends elements of style and form to create a captivating visual experience. Each letter is meticulously crafted, with curves and contours that echo the hypnotic beats of the drums and the intricate melodies of the brass section.

Afrobeat, born in the 1960s amidst the political ferment of Nigeria, is a genre that speaks to resistance, resilience, and celebration. It has been championed by iconic figures such as Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, and Antibalas, and its influence reverberates across continents, inspiring artists and activists alike.

Just as Afrobeat music has the power to uplift and unite, Afrobeat Font invites you to infuse your designs with that same infectious energy. Whether you're creating posters for concerts, flyers for events, or album covers for your latest musical endeavor, this font ensures that your message will be bold, vibrant, and impossible to ignore.

With its rounded multiline design, Afrobeat Font is particularly well-suited for printed projects, where its larger-than-life presence can truly shine. Let each letter sing and each word dance as you bring your ideas to life with the rhythm and soul of Afrobeat Font.

About Resistenza

Resistenza specializes in type-design, branding, calligraphy & lettering. Giuseppe Salerno and Paco González are the two founder, italian and spanish, their passion for writing and handcrafted lettering became their strenghts. Brushy types, calligraphic strokes, orginality in faces are their best distinguished characteristic. The first type was Afrobeat, a multiline circular type that grows up very fast and becase their first product on the list. But afterwards may other experiments more expressive like Berliner Fraktur, or an english copperplate like Copperlove bring Giuseppe Salerno's hand into a typeface.
