Alexandros Papalexis studied graphic design and typography at the National Design School (TEI) of Athens. He started designing typefaces when he felt the need to create customized type for his own projects.
PF Kids Pro is his most popular typeface. It has been used almost on everything related to children such as books, toys, food, clothing, magazines. His other typefaces include PF Freescript, PF Junior and PF Playskool.
He runs his own design studio in Athens serving a diverse group of clients. For the past 15 years he has designed corporate packages for leading Greek companies and numerous CD covers and packaging for the music industry, while his work has been featured in design-oriented magazines. He has designed music compilations for several radio stations and has collaborated with record companies such as EMI, Universal, Virgin, Sony Music, Blue_Note Records. Alexandros received an EBGE merit award (Greek Graphic Design Award) in 2009 for his work on the Zanders and Zuber-Rieder paper catalogs.
