Ampersand Type Foundry

Ampersand Type Foundry contains a collection of experimental typefaces designed by Monica Maccaux. Focusing on custom, quirky type projects exploring the idea of variables and multiples, projects take on experimental ideation with unexpected outcomes. Many of these typeface ideas came from my time in grad school at Otis College of Art & Design, in Los Angeles, CA. Inspiration was found working with various type designers such as Sibylle Hagmann, Greg Lindy, Hansje Van Halem, and Peter Bil’ak and later teaming up with Rod Cavazos at PSY/OPS Type foundry.
