About Antium Font Family

Antium is inspired on Augustus capital letters and venetians's typeface styles. One of the most peculiar features that define these fonts are their predominant height of x" as well as to ascenders and descenders strokes particularly shorts. These fonts offers good legibility in small sizes, for use in editorial design, newspapers and printed material. The strong personality of its glyphs is well suited also to headlines. Antinum (Anzio), formerly the capital of the Volscians until the Romans conquered it in 468 BC. Built on the mediterranean coast near Rome. A legend attributes its foundation to a son of Ulysses and Circe. Caligula and Nero were born there. During the early morning hours of 22 January 1944, troops of the Fifth Army swarmed ashore on a fifteen-mile stretch of Italian beach near the towns of Anzio and Nettuno.

About Eurotypo

Eurotypo is a foundry established in 2004 by Carine de Wandeleer and Olcar Alcaide that focuses on research, design, and the production of new fonts. Originally formed in Santa Severa, Italy, the group has since moved its headquarters to Valencia, Spain. In Eurotypo we develop new and original typefaces inspired by both the models of ancient writing and the investigation of new forms of expression based on the communication function of typography. The group made its MyFonts debut with Antium, and has followed it up with bestsellers such as script faces Aleka and Juliette.
