AvarType

AvarType is a small font foundry I am working on in Budapest. The name of my foundry comes from the shortening of my surname, Avarkeszi. The idea of a foundry was born when I could not find a typeface which matched my ideas for a project, so to reach the desired effect I started to create my own typefaces.Today I design eye-catching fonts from geometric components, containing latin, hellenic and cyrillic characters. Fonts made by AvarType strive for visual balance, consistency and originality, are characterized by strong contrasts, and of course, are made with a lot of passion.
