About Bradley Font Family

Oddsorts’ Bradley family celebrates the artistry of Will H. Bradley, whose graphic work continues to delight after more than a century.

We’ve painstakingly expanded Bradley’s original handful of characters into a multiscript system supporting up to 560 languages, including polytonic Greek and extended Cyrillic and localizations for Azerbaijani, Bulgarian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, and Turkish. Mittineague and Springfield also support the International Phonetic Alphabet and mark positioning for true international reach.

The fonts interpret Bradley’s lively forms and spacing through imaginative use of OpenType features. In fact, Wayside and Chicopee contain up to seven variations for every letter from which the fonts automatically choose the shape best suited to its location.

Top that off with abundant ligatures, contextual forms, small capitals, and figure styles — plus two fonts of borders and ornaments — for a robust display family perfect for packaging, posters, books, and much more.

Bradley is a trademark of Charles Gibbons / Oddsorts and may be registered in certain jurisdictions.

About Oddsorts

Oddsorts is the imprint of type designer, teacher, and graphic designer Charles Gibbons, who produces award-winning fonts for retail and custom clients. Chuck has partnered with such notable type foundries as Bitstream, Cultivated Mind, Device, Filmotype, Sideshow, and Tart Workshop — sometimes in the limelight and sometimes behind the scenes — to create technically innovative, linguistically inclusive, user-friendly fonts. His types grace book covers, packaging, greeting cards, film titles, museum façades, and even the seal of the United States Copyright Office. They appear in textbooks, have been awarded the Type Directors Club Certificate of Typographic Excellence, and even frequent MyFonts’ bestseller lists.
