Trained as a graphic designer, Brandon Knap eventually made a shift to user experience design to pursue creative problem-solving in the digital space. Now working as a Senior Art Director, he prides himself on being able to leverage creative, strategic, and technical mindsets to deliver intelligent designs. In 2017, Brandon formed The Refinery out of a personal desire to bring craftsmanship, storytelling, and experimentation to the font marketplace. In 2019, he rebranded The Refinery to
Wild Edge. The new direction holds the same spirit of creativity, strategy, and experimentation but introduces new methodologies to deliver not only new fonts but innovative designs across a diverse range of mediums.
