Cristóbal Henestrosa
Cristóbal Henestrosa has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and has also taken specialized courses in publications production at the design school of Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA). As well as holding a master’s degree in Typographic Design from Centro de Estudios Gestalt, he is a member of Association Typographique International (ATypI), Type Directors Club (TDC) and a founder member of the Círculo de Tipógrafos. He has been a teacher at various institutions in Mexico. His typefaces have been awarded in several international competitions, including TDC2 (Type Directors Club Typeface Design Competition) and Tipos Latinos (Biennial of Latin American Typography).
