Dalton Maag
Dalton Maag was founded in 1992 by Swiss type designer Bruno Maag. Over the past two decades, Bruno and his team have continuously worked to produce a boutique library of high-quality fonts both for retail and custom clients. The London-based foundry’s collection spans the type spectrum with everything from best selling fonts like Effra (a typeface based on one of the earliest commercial sans-serif designs), to playful, elegant Foco. The group, made up of over 50 people from 18 nations, specializes in script systems; creating fonts for Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, and many Asian and Indic script systems. The foundry has worked with leading branding and design agencies, as well as clients like Nokia, Intel, HP, BMW, Samsung, Toyota, Petrobras, Sparkasse, Puma, Burberry, and McDonalds. “Recognizing the individuality of our clients is at the core of what we do,” they say. “We tailor our design and technical service to meet the specific needs of each client and pride ourselves on really listening to your requirements.” The Dalton Maag team has been recognized for their outstanding work by Type Directors Club (New York), London Design Museum, D&AD, and Granshan.
