Earl Biscoe was a Bitstream font designer who retired in the mid-1980's because of illness. Earl lost his battle with mesothelioma cancer in October of 2001 after surviving 16 years beyond all expectations due to alternative therapy. Earl inspired people with his determination for beating the odds with an unfaltering wit. His positive attitude for the gift of life gave him strength to endure and help others in similar situations.
