Fabio is a pioneer of Brazilian type design, having established his first foundry in 2006, whose projects were selected and exhibited in more than 9 countries. In 2008 he joined one of the most important global companies, based in London. During eight years, he grew into many roles, up to Deputy Creative Director at global level. Together with an international team, he worked for 5 out of the 12 World’s Best Brands, according to Interbrand's report. In 2016, he decided it was time for a change, time to reconnect, and became an independent type designer. His work is seen on major technology brands and also on the largest sport event worldwide, hosted by Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He gives talks about typography applied to branding from the South Brazil up to New York, and teach courses in schools such as Perestroika, RedHook, Unisinos, UniRitter, Feevale e Univates. Fabio offers his fonts through his personal foundry Fabio Haag Type.
