Hellmuth Tschörtner was a graphic artist with many talents. After 1950 his main field of work was book design and typographic greeting cards. He made a lot of cover illustrations including his hand made typo headlines.
During his time as a student at Leipzig,
Karl-Heinz Lange (d. 2010) worked with Tschörtner for the Leipziger Messe.
