My name is Jorge Clavo and I like design in general; I learned typographic design when I worked for a couple of years for an advertising agency called "Los Ángeles Publicidad" where I worked as an advertising cartoonist; many time I had to design a font for a client's advertising, although I did not study for it or have taken a course in typography. I currently work independently with my architect daughter at Descarflex, the foundry company dedicated to the design and customization of plans and installation manuals for engineering and architectural contracting companies. My studies in electrical engineering at the University of Carabobo and electrical technician at the Industrial Technical School of Valencia Venezuela, make me always work in a technical environment. He worked for 3M Venezuela for 30 years as a sales specialist for the electrical products division and the contribution of solutions for clients made him work on the design, development and preparation of manuals for the sale of a product. Today with my experience and the management of computer-aided design tools, of which I have taken different courses in design programs, the digital development of characters, without leaving aside handwritten calligraphy, must be clear, legible and easy to interpret. Presenting a professional quality product and receiving recognition for it inspires me to continue with this project.
