Julien Janiszewski is a type designer lives in Paris. He received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Besançon and later graduated from the renowned type workshop at the École Estienne in Paris. After a brief stint working for a graphic design company, Julien now works as a freelance type and art director. He is also skilled as a calligrapher, typographer, animator, and Web designer.
He worked for a few years as an art director for a design company. He then co-founded a multi-disciplinary design atelier called Module. His
Biot type design, published by
[T-26] ranked in the 2001 bukva:raz! /

When not immersing himself in graphic design, he enjoys experimental cinema and travelling over the globe.
