“I’d hope that the fonts I create can define not only what is said, but also how it’s said—conducting a voice; an identity to the communicator,” says British designer, Matthew Blick. “Coming from a graphic design background, I know the value of owning a font that conveys a purposeful meaning. It’s with this sentiment, along with a great deal of creative curiosity, that I have ventured into creating typefaces.”
Based in Birmingham, United Kingdom, at the University of Birmingham, Matthew Blick is a graphic designer, art director, photographer, illustrator, and self-titled ‘thinker’. He designs for the University, whilst pursuing creative means across a wide spectrum outside of the campus.
