Max Glimm is a studied communication designer from Germany with a passion for shaping the world of typography and typedesign. Trained under renowned type designer Professor Jovica Veljovic during his studies at HAW Hamburg, he blends analog and digital techniques seamlessly.

Before his Communication Design studies, Max completed an apprenticeship as a Digital and Print Media Designer and gained valuable agency experience. He now focuses on freelance work, creating innovative typefaces for various applications. In addition to his work in typedesign, Max also excels in crafting interactive experiential exhibitions, where typography plays a central role in conveying exciting information.

With a focus on innovation and accessibility, Max's design philosophy centers around crafting typefaces that transcend boundaries and elevate user experiences.

In his private endeavors, Max enjoys analog typedesign like lettering, lead set and woodcut printing. This passion for tactile authenticity infuses his digital work with a sense of warmth and personality.
