About Outback Damper Font Family

I have been to Australia twice; once for almost a year and once for a couple of months. During my first visit, I hitch hiked around Australia - looking for seasonal jobs, like picking grapes, lychees and avocados. I also toured the outback. During one of these camping trips, the guide made a damper - a rough bread made from flour, salt, water and some baking soda. He kneaded the dough, put it in a Dutch oven and buried it in the hot ashes of our campfire. The result was a very impressive and super delicious bread!

Outback Damper was made with a brush and ink. It comes with a set of alternates for the lower case letters and extensive language support.

About Kitchen Table Type Foundry

Kitchen Table Type Foundry is run by me, David Kerkhoff. I also run Hanoded Fonts, which some of you may actually have heard of! :-0KTTF was created as an inspirational boost; a playground for new ideas and possibly font designs that may not fit the Hanoded Fonts brand - but I am not too strict about this rule. Since I design all the fonts, you may come across similarities - but that, unfortunately, is not something I can avoid. After all, it is just me, my laptop computer and the kitchen table I sit at when I design fonts and for which this foundry was named.
