My name is Paolo Lo Galbo and I was born in Palermo, Sicily, on the 7th of April 1992. I attended the three-year course of Comics and Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna (ABABO) and in 2017 I obtained a Master’s Degree with honours in Comics in 2017. During these years, I realized my two most mature and complex comic book projects: the fantasy and underground graphic novel Pugnax and, especially, the autobiographical graphic novel In the name of Father. The latter, revised and expanded, was published by BeccoGiallo Editore in autumn 2021 with the title Qualcosa s'è mosso (Something moved).
Since 2018 I have been working as graphic designer at Studio Ram of Bologna, where I mainly deal with layouts, lettering and the creation of fonts for comics, especially those that imitate handwriting.
