About Princesa Font Family
Princesa represents a fascinating journey through time, taking inspiration from classic Roman fonts and masterfully addressing contemporary typographic challenges.
The collaboration between Enrique and Eli Hernández, father and daughter, manifests itself in two years of dedication to give shape to this typeface that stands out for its contrasts and captivating shapes, giving it a subtle and distinctive personality. It should be noted that the design process had the contribution of the Latinotype team.
Princesa offers a total of 36 weights, which include a "normal" version and its respective italics, as well as an "alt" version also accompanied by italics. Its extensive repertoire covers the Cyrillic alphabet and 4 stylistic sets, making it possible to replace almost 40 characters. This versatility makes Princesa the perfect choice for a wide variety of applications such as editorial design, headlines, branding and advertising, masterfully fusing style, elegance and timeless classic beauty with an updated perspective.

About Latinotype
Based in Concepción and Santiago, Chile, Latinotype’s founders say, “Our goal is to design new typefaces remixing diverse influences related to our South American identity with high quality products for the contemporary design industry.” And the duo have been doing just that since their foundry’s creation in 2007. One of the most successful foundries on MyFonts in recent years, Luciano Vergara and Daniel Hernández, have put together a rapidly growing collection of typefaces in a wide array of genres. Specializing in colorful display and script faces, the group’s name “Latinotype” emphasizes the strong tie they feel to their cultural identity. The Premium foundry page can be viewed Here.
