About Lempicka Font Family

Lempicka is a ligature-rich typeface duo with support for Latin and Greek.

Lempicka Display and Small Caps are a pair of light, clean fonts with strong Art Deco character. Lempicka Display has over 150 ligatures and alternates (in Greek, too!), so it's extremely customizable and versatile. Lempicka Small Caps is Display's little sister: the perfect complement for creating hierarchy in a layout.⠀

This is a beautiful typeface for wedding invitations and personal stationery, as well as unique logo design and branding projects.

The name of this type family is an homage to Art Deco painter Tamara de Lempicka.

About Molly Suber Thorpe

Molly Suber Thorpe is a hand lettering artist whose focus is on branding and editorial calligraphy. She has worked with brands including Google Arts & Culture, Michael Kors, Martha Stewart, and Fendi. Molly is the author of three books about calligraphy. Her first, Modern Calligraphy: Everything You Need to Know to Get Started in Script Calligraphy (St. Martin’s Press, 2013), is a beginner’s guide covering the basics of pointed pen calligraphy. The second, The Calligrapher's Business Handbook (2017), is a guide for crafting a thriving freelance career out of hand lettering. Her newest book, Mastering Modern Calligraphy (St. Martin’s Griffin, October 2019) picks up where her first leaves off. It is an in-depth guide to modern calligraphy, and the perfect companion for pointed pen and digital calligraphers alike. She also teaches Skillshare classes and in-person workshops around the globe. In 2016, Molly launched Calligrafile.com, a curated database of resources and products for calligraphers, hand lettering artists, type enthusiasts, and creative freelancers.
