Die Typonauten

Founded in 2000 “Die Typonauten” is a Bremen (Germany) based independent font foundry which offers display fonts. The design studio “Die Typonauten” has won several design contests such as “iF communication award” or “art directors club award”. The design performance and font work of Die Typonauten are consistently presented in international journals and book publications - e. g. PAGE, Rockport Publishers, Verlag Hermann Schmidt Mainz, Novum or Slanted. The foundry was selected as German independent type foundry for “Typography, Referenced – A Comprehensive Visual Guide to the Language, History, and Practice of Typography”, a publication of Rockport Publishers.
