He is a professor, academic researcher, and independent type designer based in Brazil. Eller's type designs reflect his profound interest in history and vernacular culture. The foundry debuted with the release of the Sagarana font family in 2017, garnering considerable acclaim and ranking among the top twenty Hot New Fonts upon its release in Myfonts. Since then, Eller has delved deeper into type design matter, combining historical research and technical studies to develop the first text font, Itacolomi. This font family stems from extensive investigations into Scottish-style types crafted in Brazil circa 1820.
