LucasFonts
LucasFonts is the foundry established by Dutch designer Luc(as) de Groot in 2000. Today, LucasFonts is a bustling type design studio with a small, international team of designers. LucasFonts aims to produce original typefaces that meet the needs of complex typographic design and multilingual office environments. Many of the foundry's type families were originally designed for specific clients in response to well-defined demands - leading to a very practical and user-oriented approach. LucasFonts' most popular typefaces, such as Thesis (the family that includes TheSans, a long-time bestseller), Sun, Taz and Corpid have been expanded over the years. They are versatile superfamilies with a huge choice of widths and weights and many different styles of numerals. The typefaces issued by LucasFonts are designed to work smoothly across different environments. The fonts have been updated to the latest standards and tested for current software specifications; they are suited to the peculiarities of many languages. Used by demanding typographers and graphic designers across the world, text faces issued by LucasFonts have been known to give fine performances in many different contexts - from tiny footnotes to truck-size logos and everything in between. In addition LucasFonts offers some of the wildest fun fonts available today. Type families from LucasFonts are often large. To encourage you to experiment with the possibilities of having many weights, our volume discount curve is one of the most attractive in the business. The Premium foundry page can be viewed Here.
