SilkType is a Reykjavik-based type foundry founded by Rakel Tomas in 2017. Our debut font, Silk Serif, set the stage for a collection of captivating display serif typefaces. Inspired by fabrics’ role in fashion, each font is thoughtfully named after textiles, embodying the essence of graphic design materials. SilkType delivers distinctive typefaces that elevate graphic design projects with a touch of sophistication.
