FF Marselis Serif – a friendly, highly legible Antiqua
The new FF Marselis® font family from Danish typeface designer Jan Maack is the third family of the FF Marselis super family after the Sans and Slab. Maack, who specializes in brands and corporate designs, has designed fonts for ten years. He recently founded his own label, “The Ivy Foundry”.
Compared to the other members of the extended family, the new FF Marselis Serif has a somewhat more classical design, but maintains the typical features of the unique and memorable family, like the teardrop-shaped internal forms, the asymmetrical serifs and the slightly curved diagonals.
Like the other members of the extended family, FF Marselis Serif is available in the familiar weights, Light, Regular, Bold and Black, each with a true italic.
The friendly, round and easily legible FF Marselis has everything that a good text font needs. In combination with the other family members, FF Marselis is in top form and can be used without any problems in large corporate projects and different application scenarios.
