Neuropol X
The future is now – Neuropol X is a forward-looking display family
Neuropol X is a typeface family from Ray Larabie, one of the most prolific typeface designers on the Internet. In the game for over a decade, his free and commercial typefaces may be found in creative works all over the world. Neuropol X builds on one of his earlier pieces, Neuropol.
A significant extension, the Neuropol X family includes 18 styles:
Three weights (light, regular, and bold)
Three widths (condensed, regular, and extended)
Each weight and width is available with matching italics. In addition, the Neuropol X family includes two bonus styles: 3D and Burn.
Neuropol X is a futuristic font recalling everything sci-fi, as well as video games, “vectorbeams,” and flatbed plotters. The design bridges a stylistic gap betweenthe geometric sans serif fonts of the late 20th century and superelliptical futuristic fonts. If you’re familiar with the old Neuropol, you will appreciate the improvements made to Neuropol X:
– a refined finish
– lighter lowercase stems
– improved spacing
– a closed roof Z
